Bucharest Weekend Vibes: 13 - 15 September


As temperature slowly drops, events start to move indoor and focus on video and classical music experiences, such as George Enescu festival and other autumn film festivals.

Pelicula

The 4th edition of the Latin American Film Festival has arrived. Enjoy a weekend of latin sounds and inspiration, while learning stories inspired by the realities of the Southern American continent.

The festival takes place in multiple partner locations, check out their website and facebook event to make sure you won't miss out on the films you'd like!

Peasant Museum Days

The museum is celebrating the 7th edition of this event: 12th to 22th of September at the Peasant Museum

Enjoy a weekend of exhibitions, fairs and interesting talks about their activity.

Dokstation

Another alternative film festival reaching the 4th edition this weekend. Dokstatioin is all about documentaries and they partnered up with alternative locations such as clubs, terracs and even a mall.

FRIDAY - 13 September

16.30 - 18.30 Kremerata Baltica, George Enescu Festival at Romanian Athenaeum (address)

Founded in 1997 by the renowned violinist Gidon Kremer, the Grammy-Award winning chamber orchestra Kremerata Baltica is considered to be one of Europe’s most prominent international ensembles. Tickets start from 160 lei, find them here.

17.00 - 22.55 Taraf Varbilau live on the Parlament at Dialogue MNAC (address)

Live party music on the only open rooftop of the People`s Palace, concert starts at 20.30, tickets cost 50 lei, get yours here.

SATURDAY - 14 September

10.00 - 19.00 Mezanin Market at Palatul Universul (address)

Autumn-winter season open for two days, visitors will be able to find jewelry, interior design products, drinks, children's and adult clothing, eco-friendly products, books, sweets and honey in healthy combinations, backpacks and special bags, natural cosmetics. The entry is free.

16.00 - 17.30 Invisible Conversations, Nefiresc Picnic at Cismigiu Park (address)

Please bring a blanket, pillow, or yoga mat to sit on! Also bring a scarf if you have one! In this event, Nefiresc invites you to leave behind one of your senses and make a connection with someone. You’ll be having discussions with strangers, but there’s just one catch.... Everybody is blindfolded.

SUNDAY - 15 September

10.00 - 17.00 Wishfest at Dragon Boat Regatta (address)

The first festival focused on water lamps will take place on Floreasca lake. Light up the lake, enjoy live music and cooking and relax among other creative souls. Find tickets and more info on wishfest.ro

14.00 - 21.30 It´s a Must and Wine at Cooperativa (address)

An event for foodies who want to try out the fresh combination of autumn wine and grilled pastrami. A somelier will be sharing stories about the available wines.
