Bucharest Weekend Vibes: 6 - 8 September


Autumn is fully taking over, the landscape has visibly changed. Wouldn't it be a pitty to miss out on the warm days and colors of this season? So many events around the city again!

Main events happening all through the weekend:

Mauve Wine Experience

The third edition of an unique music and film festival, in the middle of Tohani vineyard, takes place on September 6-7, 2019, on both evenings from 17.00 to 23.55

Just an hour and a half from Bucharest, MAUVE - Wine Experience brings the public into the heart of nature, during the harvesting period, for two memorable autumn evenings with walks through the vineyard, concerts, movie screenings, wine tastings, picking and photography competitions and many other special experiences

MAUVE will provide special buses on the Bucharest-Tohani route, which will depart from Victoriei Square between 15.30 and 17.30 and will return to Bucharest from midnight. The festival also has a car park on the edge of the vineyard. Get your tickets here! - prices start from 60 lei

The Carnival 2019

Hungry for fun, thirsty for awesome! The Carnival is back in town! Friday to Sunday 12.00 till midnight at Romexpo.

Three days of sensations that test your senses, with flavors from all over the world, with dishes that steal your mind. Over 60 vendors will introduce you to recipes from 10 international cuisines. The line-up was selected to match your appetite, check it out on the website.

Garden with Artists

After a long summer, sprinkled with fun and trips, at the beginning of September, the Garden with Artists extends the vacation spirit with another weekend before the "back to school" moment.

They promise a real city break in the middle of the city at Gradina Icoanei Park, the most relaxing urban mini-festival on the grass - Mary's Garden, where the loved ones are celebrated.

FRIDAY - 6 September

10.00 - 14.00 Creative Workshops at Obor market (address)

Art is part of life at the oldest and largest market Bucharest. The workshop will lead to the creation of a large collage, inspired by the idea of ​​a mosaic, made from pictures with old Obor and from images taken in the Obor area today. A mobile wall about Obor will be painted on Friday and Saturday.

19.30 - 22.00 Alma Brasileira at Gradina Sticlarilor (address)

A concert of the Brazilian soul in its poetic, melancholy and vibrant state - live voice and guitar in the garden of the venue. You can book tickets by filling in this form - the price of a ticket is 35 lei

SATURDAY - 7 September

21.00 - 00.00 Weekend's International & CS Meeting at Manasia Hub (address)

Multicultural meeting at Manasia, under a porch in case it's raining, outside on the terrace if it's not. A simple idea: come and meet new people, chat with them, get to know and share stories and culture.

21.00 - 05.00 Taraf de Caliu de True Club (address)

Party all night long on cheerful folk of Taraf Caliu band - musical vibes that have been touring around the world, making Romanian party music famous and winning awards. Tickets cost 40 lei, get them here and contact the club for reservations (seats are limited) +40727.488.087

SUNDAY - 8 September

18.00 - 22.00 Ecstatic Dance with Cacao * Rhythmic Mirror at Ecstatic Dance Bucharest (address)

Cacao Ceremony / Body Art/ Massage Corner / Community Hour / Vegan Potluck In 4 hours of music, movement and community, Ecstatic Dance brings the perfect opportunity to feel nourished, strengthened and invigorated. 19.30 - 21.30 Enescu Experience at Le Chateau (address)

As a partner of the Enescu Experience program, a project that aims to spread the magic of the festival to as many people as possible, Le Château brings its contribution by creating a complex experience, both musical and gastronomic. The participating public will enjoy a full live-streaming projection from the concert halls, followed by a refined cocktail, and culinary experience.

An optional donation of 40 Lei is appreciated and will be directed to children from underprivileged families.
