An epic weekend is about to begin. A historical event will be blessing the beginning of June: the visit of Pope Francis in Bucharest. The official schedule includes meetings with the President and Patriarch as well as the Catholic service at St. Joseph's Catholic Cathedral at 18.00. The traffic in the city center will be restrictioned but you'll have the chance to see the Pope - follow the main part of his route on the official map.

Femei pe Matasari #9
The 9th edition of the colorful street festival "Women on Matasari" is happening on Matasari street over the weekend. The theme of this edition is"the wedding" and promises to bring a fresh mix of poetry, short movies, workshops, food trucks and concerts every evening, from Friday to Sunday.
This edition brings an eclectic approach to the story told in two, a reminder of traditions braided with a bit of today's kitsch.

Event designed for both kids and grown-ups to sharpen their memory, build strategies, ask questions, and seek answers at Cărtureşti Playground - second edition. The bookshop promises two intense days with workshops and games to train your intelligence, logic, memory and dexterity

Sneakers & Burgers 5.0: Mid 90's
The poster below says it all, the 5th edition of the Sneakers & Burgers festival is combining the love for snickers with the love for food and hip music. The festival streches over two days, 1st and 2nd of June, starting hours 1:00 PM at Control Club
