Spring is here and everyone is looking forward to spending more time outside. Events are popping up everywhere so here you'll find a short heads up on cool things to do each weekend apart from an awesome Bucharest Vibes tour, of course ;)
This is a highly curated list of expat / tourist friendly events. You'll find in the 1st section events that last all through the weekend. In the second part you'll find events for each day.
Main events happening all through the weekend:
The 5th edition of Spotlight festival
Bucharest International Light Festival will take place between the 18th and the 21st of April, on Calea Victoriei.
This edition of the festival will mark two major events of the year: the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the opening of the Romania-France Season in Bucharest, events which will be reflected in the theme of this edition, entitled: EuropeLights.
In the opening, on Thursday, the 18th of April, at 9 p.m., famous French artist Bob Sinclair will hold a concert in George Enescu Square, preceded by a warm-up with DJ ANDI, at 8.30 p.m.
Thursday to Sunday, from 20.00 to 23.55, the city will be lit up by creative installations.

Palm Sunday Weekend Fair
First craftsmen fair for this season, organized by the Peasent's Museum, takes place this weekend Friday to Sunday from 10.00 to 18.00.
Here you will have the opportunity to bargain a lot of beautiful things, crafted with wit and loaded with meaning. Painted eggs, icons, wooden objects, ceramics, fabrics, toys, musical instruments, ornaments, painted furniture, and many more can pe purchased at the Fair.
Don't wory about food, homemade / artisanal specialities will be avialable: cakes and pies, all sorts of sweets from Teleorman, Harghita gingerbread, honey, pollen and propolis, herbs, brandy and honey.
Tickets: 4 Lei for adults, 2 Lei for students / seniors
Rokolectiv Festival kicks off between 18th and 21st of April in Apollo111 and Control Club in Bucharest. The festival returns with its 14th edition and a new selection of artists that push forward genres and artistic formats in electronic music and related arts.
